Our Story
My mom is my best friend. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with dementia several years ago and was no longer able to take care of herself. So, I decided to move mom in with my daughter, English and I. Not only was it a big transition for us, but mom struggled to adjust, as well. We rearranged our school and work schedules so one of us would be with her at all times. After looking at her limited options for additional care, we decided to create a safe and secure place for my mom where she could feel loved, comfortable, make friends and have fun away from home. That’s ChristyCare.
I know there are others experiencing the same thing that I was. We are caregivers that have to maintain a family life and work balance. ChristyCare encourages the senior’s activity, friendships, socialization, and independence. At ChristyCare, we “love your loved ones!”
